4. User Content and Intellectual Property

  • Your Uploads: You retain all rights to the lecture materials you upload. By uploading, you represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to use and authorize us to process that content.
  • AI-Generated Output: You own the output generated for you by the Service (including summaries, questions, and quizzes). You may use this output for any legal purpose. noLec claims no intellectual property rights over the output generated from your uploaded materials.
  • Copyright Disclaimer: noLec acts as a processing tool and assumes no responsibility for verifying the copyright status of user-uploaded documents. It is solely the user's responsibility to ensure they have the right to upload and process materials through our Service.

5. Payment and Subscription

  • Fees: The Service is offered under a paid subscription model.
  • Auto-Renewal: Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle until you cancel.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through the "Manage Subscription" section in your account Settings. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Refunds: All payments are fully refundable. If you are not satisfied with the Service, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your purchase. Refund policies are subject to change at our discretion.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. NOLEC MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, REGARDING THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR RELIABILITY OF THE AI-GENERATED CONTENT. THE SUMMARIES, QUESTIONS, AND QUIZZES ARE INTENDED AS A STUDY AID AND DO NOT GUARANTEE 100% COVERAGE OR ACCURACY OF THE SOURCE MATERIAL. YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR VERIFYING THE INFORMATION BEFORE RELYING ON IT.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NOLEC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
